Dinner at Molly's

We went to dinner last night at Molly and Tony's, we had baked salmon, kippered sockeye, boiled potatoes with seal oil and banana cream pie. 100_1836.jpg

Here's Cassie holding up the seal oil.

Neah Bay

We arrived yesterday in Neah Bay, Wa. The weather was clearing and today its absolutely gorgeous. 100_1791.jpg

We are parked at The Village RV Park, a great spot right in the middle of town, near my neice Molly and all my old friends.
100_1794.jpg The view is pretty good too. 100_1793.jpg

Visiting Family in Forks

We arrived yesterday afternoon in Forks, Wa to visit Dave and Sharon and their family. Had a nice dinner last night at a local chinese restaurant. 100_1787.jpg 100_1788.jpg 100_1789.jpg

These are at the local timber museum/visitors center. Interesting not, seems an author wrote a series of books, Twilight being the beginning book, and used Forks as the fictional setting for it. It seems to be a vampire love story kind of book and now the whole town has vampire fever. Really funny.

Update on Oregon travels

We spotted the Junkyard Dog while in Oregon. 100_1761.jpg 100_1762.jpg

We visited Tillamook cheese factory again.
100_1775.jpg 100_1776.jpg

While we were in Seaside a plane crashed into a house just a mile or so away.

Headin North

We left Oregon yesterday and are camped at a Western Horizons Resort just north of Aberdeen, Washington. Weird old park, no septic hookups, 30 amp service at best, and each spot is carved out of the forest, hard to find a spot where sat will come in. We'll only be staying here over the weekend then it's on to Forks.

Cool and overcast

It's been cool and overcast the last few days, feels good to be able to wear some of our sweatshirts and sweaters. We made a trip to Jim and Carol's the other day and stopped and had a new tire put on the front of Smokin.

There was a plane crash about a mile from us the other day, so sad, so much open area and it crashed into a house killing the occupants. Burned the house to the ground also.

We are going to go check out Long Beach today and I'm thinking I may do some crabbing tomorrow.

Waterless Washing

I bought a waterless washing solution a few days ago. I started cleaning the coach yesterday, today I am half done with the coach and it is looking great. From experience I have learned not to try to wash the whole coach at once, it is just too much work, so I do the front one day, a side another day, the back another day, and finally finish it up by doing the other side. Takes at least four days but I'm not dead to the world when I finish. So far I am really happy with this waterless washing solution, not a lot of work and the coach looks great.
