Jake's Rib
We went to our favorite BBQ place in the area, Jake's Rib, tuesday is all you can eat night too, for only 8.99. Trouble is our appetites aren't big enough to even eat all the food that comes on the first plate, but it was great.

Marti's Rock hit Texas
First stop in Texas for Marti's Rock is the Cadillac Ranch.
And then Marti's Rock want to get up close and personal.
Next stop for Marti's Rock, The Big Texan in Amarillo.
Marti's Rock can't believe the spread for the free 72 oz steak.
Marti's Rock has a new friend, Mark from England and Mark is gonna try to eat a Big Texan and Marti's Rock is cheering him on.
Marti's Rock also helped cook Mark's steak.
Tammy, the chef, thanks Marti's Rock

Marti's Rock has a busy day
This is how Marti's Rock travels.
Marti's Rock saw a road sign about the Blue Hole, had to stop. That's Marti's Rock sitting under the sign.
I'm thinking Marti's Rock is a hard head, he thought he could go swimming.
Here he poses in front of the Blue Hole with Karan and Kaluha. LOL, that Kaluha is so funny and jealous too, look she stuck her tongue out for the pic.
There are fish in here too, goldfish and a few big carp. Guaranteed someone put them in there. That white square is made of pvc pipe and it is tied to the bottom of the Blue Hole, and you can see the bottom 81 feet down.
Here we are parked out front.
Marti's Rock at 4 Corners
Marti's Rock
Today we took a detour while traveling from Moab to Gallup. It was only about 24 miles but the road was rough, rougher than I remember. I also forgot that the Indian tribe that controls the area, either the Navajo or Ute, don't remember which, charge you to get to the marker that designates the US Governments official designation of 4 corners. Anyway I ponied up and ignored the sign that said I need a permit to gather rocks and grabbed a rock that had Marti's lifeforce all over it. Marti's Rock got pictured sitting on the official marker of 4 corners, the point at which the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah meet. Maybe I better take some more pics of Marti's Rock at famous places along the way. I'll post the pics soon.

Seattle chow joints
I figured we'd first go to Beth's Cafe but I mistakenly put in the address for Voula's Offshore Cafe.
I had Voula's Big One Link:
VoulasBigOne.
Karan had just a regular bacon and egg breakfast
The next day we made it to Beth's Cafe, home of the 6 or 12 egg omelette, we opted to split a 6 egg omelette Link:
this is the front of Beth's Link:
The next day we went to Mike's Chili Parlor Link:
too bad it was closed for Labor Day, maybe next time, LOL.
