New Years Eve Pashnit Ride

We line up in the morning.
Check out each others bikes.
Ride for awhile and then stop for lunch.
It was warm inside and the food was good as was the company.

It was a cold ride

It was a cold ride this day. Christmas is now over and here we march on to welcome the New Year. The last post held, maybe it was adding a pic that caused the problem. Let's try that out and see.

I posted a few posts recently, now they have vanished. I wonder what happened? I think I'll just post this to see if it stays here. Still in Fresno, cold and rainy now. Christmas is just around the corner, gonna go visit Cuzn Frank, Marti and then Mom and Joe.

Snowed in Neah Bay

This may not seem like big news, But if you knew Neah Bay, you'd know that snow is very very very rare there. I remember years ago when it snowed like this we used to tie a hood of an old car to the bumper and tow kids around. In this day and age, that's frowned upon, but by the looks of the snow, this would have been a good day for it.

Vaughn isn't sure

Now here's a heck of a dilema for such a little guy. It's the holiday season, should I dress up as Frosty the Snowman Or perhaps I should go all out and dress up as Santa Claus. You all be the judge, let me know!!!

Ride Sequoia National Park

Just a Sunday ride.

We rode the motorcycles through the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It was cold enough these guys seemed to have lost their senses and decided to try to make it look like they were holding up a Giant Sequoia tree. Here's the tree, without the clowns. It's the General Sherman tree, said to be the largest there. If put in the LA highway system the trunk would block 3 lanes of traffic. Here's a sign, bet you can't read it. I think it said something about the tree being 274 meters tall, or was that feet? For a sixty year old, Cuzn Frank is one tough dude. Not only did he do the ride with us, but to get here and home he tacked on 3 hours of riding on each end. Made about a 600 mile day for him and a lot of that was while riding in 30 degree weather. Got to my You Tube and see the film I took of us riding the twisties.
